The ULI Greenprint Center for Building Performance revealed in May that six new real estate leaders, representing more than 1,700 buildings, have announced plans to reduce the operational carbon emissions of their collective portfolio under operational control to net zero by the year 2050. Prescriptive Data was selected by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) as one of four finalists in its Proving Ground program to promote energy efficiency within the GSA’s national real estate portfolio. This is the second time Prescriptive Data has been selected by the GSA to test out Grid-Interactive Efficient Building (GEB) concepts for the agency. As part of the GSA Proving Ground program, the agency works with independent, third-party evaluators to test out pre- and early-commercial building technologies in federally-owned buildings.
